My Gadgets This Thanksgiving….

Thanksgiving 2010 was lonely and with my wife away because her employer  cannot find her a project in the USA. That in combination with the US embassy in India shutting down for the Obama visit. Don’t think much came of it but it did delay what was a 3 week vacation into a 2 month (and counting) away from my wife.

Back to my gadgets purchased on Thanksgiving this year – I finally have a BOSE Headset. I bought the Bose AE2 headset, after having wished for it for over 6 months after my first experience with it on a flight to some destination, I don’t remember! I did test the Noise Cancelling variety but with that headset, every time there was a song change, it felt like the air was getting sucked out of my ears – not a comfortable feeling since the maximum use I am planning for this is to listen to music mostly while at work or sometimes when I cannot sleep. Here’s a nice picture of it – all flashy.

The actual piece of equipment actually looks as nice, as against the many other gadgets I have bought that just look nice and sleek in the pictures. This one actually looks good in real life. And the sound is amazing. The $ 161 spent is worth every penny.

I also purchased a Canon EOS T2i Digital SLR. In chasing the best deal I hot on this website www.bestpriceelectronics.com – great reviews from a whole bundle of websites that I will never trust again. They call me today and tell me that they were already sold out when I placed the order and they would like to cancel my order or I will have to wait 2 and 1/2 weeks for their next shipment.
